Grant Rules and Requirements

We award TWO grants each year. One grant is awarded to a North Carolina female or gender-expansive filmmaker and the other is open to all female and/or gender-expansive filmmakers. 

The writer and/or director must be female and/or gender-expansive OR 50% of your writer/director/cinematographer/editor team must be female and/or gender-expansive. Films must not be complete to enter.  A pitch deck attached to the application is required and winners must be able to accept US funds by check, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
